Visualising the Beatles (written by John Pring and Rob Thomas) is a book full of witty stories and surprising facts about the Beatles using stunning infographics and data visualisations. This is a book that even the most devoted Beatles fan will enjoy. I love the way this book is presented, divided by albums, and including quotes, timelines, graphs, and more.
In Visualising the Beatles, there are also sections with random facts about the Beatles. For instance, there is one section where the authors list their favorite Beatles conspiracy theories. There is another section about Beatles memorabilia sales with a list of prices of some of the most expensive Beatles items ever sold at auction. There is also a section at the end of the book about solo projects, new bands, collaborations or the immense influence John, Paul, George, and Ringo have had on the generations of musicians who've come after them. Visualising the Beatles really demonstrates just how much the Beatles’ musical legacy continues to this day and I immensely enjoyed getting to take a peek at it.
Visualising the Beatles will make the perfect Christmas gift for the Beatles and/or music lover in your life. You can order your copy here: https://www.orphanspublishing.co.uk/book/visualising-the-beatles/.
