Review of Brooklyn Bean Roastery Hot Cocoa Variety Pack {and Giveaway}

Did you know the Brooklyn Bean Roastery offers more than just coffee? They also happen to offer several varieties of cocoaDid you know that studies say chocolate contains chemicals called dopamine and phenyl ethylamine which release certain “pleasure” endorphins to the pleasure centers of the brain. That's why you'll love the Brooklyn Bean Rooastery Hot Cocoa Variety Pack, which contains all six varieties of Brooklyn Bean hot cocoa flavors (Campfire, Milk Chocolate, Mexican, Midnight, Carnival and Peanut Butter Cup) made with real cocoa. They do also contain milk and soy.

  • Peanut Butter Cup Hot Cocoa:   You can never go wrong when mixing chocolate and peanut butter together in any form. This cocoa has a unique, great tasting flavor with the perfect amount of creamy chocolate with a hint of sweet and savory peanut butter. It will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.
  • Midnight Hot Cocoa:   This cocoa is full of intense, smooth, rich dark chocolate flavor. It never gets weak and is very satisfying from the first sip to the very last. Every time I order a hot cocoa during a cold football game, I'm given a weak, watered down cup of cocoa so I'm thinking Midnight Hot Cocoa should accompany me in my travel mug to all cold football games from now on.
  • Mexican Cocoa:  This cocoa definitely has a unique flavor with some added spices. I was afraid it would be too spicy and overbearing and undrinkable but the amount of spice is just right. Cinnamon is the most predominant spice. This reminds me of a seasonal gourmet hot cocoa that you'd find around Christmastime, best enjoyed with family and friends in a festive environment.
  • Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa:  If you're not in the mood for a flavored hot cocoa, then this Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa is perfect for you. Every last sip is creamy and delicious and will leave you feeling a bit nostalgic. It
  • Hot Cocoa:  If you've ever enjoyed caramel candy or caramel popcorn, then you'll really love this cocoa that combines both of these sweet and salty notes. They are blended together perfectly giving you get a creamy, sweet tasting caramel flavored cocoa with a bit of savory as well.
  • Campfire Hot Cocoa:   There's nothing like coming in from the cold outdoors and warming up with a cup of hot cocoa topped off with marshmallows. It's always been one of my favorite ways to enjoy cocoa and always gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. Campfire Hot Cocoa was able to capture this feeling perfectly by combining delicious milk chocolate with the flavor of sweet toasted marshmallows. It has a wonderful marshmallow flavor, as if you added a pinch of actual marshmallows that then melted in your cup. This was by far my favorite cocoa from the variety pack.
Overall, I was very happy with this cocoa variety pack with my favorite flavor being Campfire Hot Cocoa. There is a cocoa for everyone. This variety pack is reasonably priced as well. The K-cups work perfectly in my Keurig 2.0 at the office (using a Freedom Clip which overrides the Keurig 2.0 Lock Out Technology) so I'm able to share them with my co-workers who seem to love all the different flavors as well.
