Review of Mug Rugs From Silly Mama Quilts

When I first started reviewing products on Precisely Mine almost 5 years ago, one of the first brands that I had the opportunity to review for was Silly Mama Quilts. My blog has grown a lot since then and so has Silly Mama Quilts. When I contacted Brooke at Silly Mama Quilts about donating some mug rugs for the National Medical Transcription Week 2015 gift bags I'm making for my co-workers, she was more than happy to do so, but you'll hear more about those gift bags in May.

Mug Rugs are handmade two-sided 6.5 x 9 inch quilts made especially for your mug. Each side has a similar design but is different so you can change things up once in a while. The pattern I received has purple and green butterflies on one side and on the other side a collection of prints in addition to more of the butterflies. The colors go together well and are very lively. The stitching is pristine and these mug rugs are made extremely well. You can tell that Brooke is a very talented person and loves what she does. They are the perfect size for holding your mug but also big enough to hold smaller food items and snacks as well. These are perfect for those who like to dip breakfast biscuits, cookies, etc. in their coffee. They are made from cotton fabric and are washable so you don't have to worry about spills, crumbs, or other messes. Did I mention mug rugs are super cute and very clever? They are the perfect desk companion at the office. They don't take up too much room and they store easily if you need to move them out of the way.

There are so many different ways to use Mug Rugs. How would you use yours?

In addition to the mug rugs, at Silly Mama Quilts you'll also find baby items, including bibs, nursing covers, and baby quilts, as well as tablerunners, lap quilts, pillow covers, placemats, and more, all beautifully handcrafted and made with love.
