The first few times I applied either of these Fango mud masks, I felt a burning sensation on my face that was moderately intense, which lasted for several minutes. However, after regular use of these mud masks the sensation went away. I'm still not sure what that was about but it could be in part due to my extremely sensitive skin. Regardless, I never experienced any other symptoms such as redness, itching, irritation, rash, etc. Anyway....
The Fango Active Mud is Borghese's signature and classic mineral-rich mud with deep-down purifying power that purges and minimizes pores. It exfoliates and helps surface cell turnover, as well as hydrates and firms reducing fine lines, providing a smooth, toned texture. It is infused with Sweet Almond and Avocado oils and detoxifies and does away with dull skin, leaving skin radiant and refreshed.
After the initial burning sensation went away, I really quite enjoyed the Fango Active Mud. It has a nice consistency and feels nice and cool on my skin. I apply it for approximately 5 minutes. It doesn't completely harden and never feels uncomfortable. It does a pretty nice job at exfoliating my face and keeps it hydrated nicely as well. This can also be used on the body as well. It's very easy to wash off as well.
The Fango Delicato is made for people with sensitive skin like myself. It is formulated to gently cleanse and detoxify but it will leave the most fragile and sensitive skin feeling enriched and refreshed. It contains Aloe Vera, oat protein, and mango butter to help calm the skin and deliver a surge of hydration, as well as olive fruit and chamomile extracts which soothe and alleviate dryness, helping to restore soft, supple cushion and comfort.
The Fango Delicato also has a nice consistency and feels nice and cool on my skin. I apply it for approximately 5 minutes as well and it too doesn't completely harden. It makes my skin feel refreshed and renewed. Like I said, this is make for sensitive skin and in fact it doesn't cause me any irritations whatsoever. It helps with hydration but if you're looking for a mud mask that also exfoliates I'd stick with the Fango Active Mud as this mud mask doesn't exfoliate quite as well. It's also very easy to wash off however.
The Fango Brillante will help you reclaim a bright, vibrant and beautifully-even complexion. It is formulated to imbue dull and distress skin with radiance and renewed natural, instantly noticeable glow. The Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract and Sweet Almond and Avocado oils minimize pores, even tone, and correct imperfection, as well as promote a smooth, clear luminance.
The Fango Brillante, like the previous two mud masks, also has a nice consistency and feels nice and cool on my skin. I also apply this mud mask for approximately 5 minutes and it doesn't completely harden. I don't notice an instantly noticeable glow but it helps with keeping my skin moisturized and keeps it feeling refreshed and renewed as well. Like the others, it washes off easily.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a mud mask that hydrates well, any of these muds would work, but if you're looking for one that hydrates and also exfoliates, you'll want to try the Fango Active Mud. They'll all three leave your skin feeling rejuvenated.
These Borghese mud masks also come in very nice jars that are easy to open and close, locking tight. These jars are big enough that these mud masks will last a very long time.
