Carmex Skincare Review and Giveaway

At Carmex, their number one priority is keeping your skin and lips nourished with their Carmex lip balms and Carmex Skin Care, which includes healing cream and hydrating lotion. Where I live, the temperature is still in the 30s and 40s most days so my skin is still in dire need of the hydration that the Carmex skin care line provides as they are specially formulated to heal and repair even the driest skin, no matter what the weather has in store.

The technical term for how Carmex Hydrating Lotion is able to hydrate so that it's moisturizing yet feels greaseless is called microemulsification. It immediately soaks into damaged skin so you won't feel a hint of greasiness. Carmex Hydrating Lotion is formulated with vitamin E to aid in moisturization of dry skin, helping to soften and heal it. It also uses aloe at a concentration of 200 times what you'd find in an aloe plant, helping prevent dryness and promote healing, plus soothing irritated skin. It's soothing, long-lasting and perfect for everyday use.

I applied Carmex Hydrating Lotion on my dry skin twice a day to ensure that my skin was moisturized overnight and throughout the day. It went on easily and absorbed quickly. It had a pleasant scent and the consistency was just right, not too thin or too thick. It did not make my skin feel greasy afterwards. I have extremely sensitive skin and the Carmex Hydrating Lotion did not cause irritation or break me out in any way whatsoever.

Carmex Healing Cream
goes through a patent-pending blending process that emulsifies it into a fast-absorbing formula that won’t wipe off on your clothes, immediately going to work helping to heal your most troubled spots, such as your feet, elbows and hands. Carmex Healing Cream is formulated with increased levels of rich lanolin and has the
same rehydrating properties as naturally occurring lipids in your skin. The formulation also includes petrolatum and adds allantoin to soften skin and aid with moisturization.

The Carmex Healing Cream is of thicker consistency and I used it on my driest, most troublesome areas of  skin, including on my feet and elbows. It has a pleasant scent. It went on easily and absorbed quickly into my skin and did not make it feel greasy after applying. I have extremely sensitive skin and the Carmex Healing Cream did not cause irritation or break me out in any way whatsoever. Used daily, it seemed to do a wonderful job at softening my skin, which is always a wonderful feeling.
