20 Mule Team Borax Review and Giveaway

20 Mule Team Borax is not only a laundry booster, but it is a multipurpose household cleaner as well. 20 Mule Team Borax (the common name for sodium tetraborate) is 100% natural mineral from earth. Absolutely nothing is added to Borax, including no phosphates, chlorine, or other additive chemicals. 20 Mule Team Borax naturally softens hard water, which is water that contains calcium and magnesium, to protect your detergent so it can maximize cleaning power and help remove stains and keep them from being re-deposited back onto clothes.

20 Mule Team Borax is made of a very fine powdery material. Because it is so fine I recommend you be careful when pouring it so as to not make a mess. I added 1/2 cup to my wash along with my regular Purex laundry detergent and my towels came out clean and soft. The 20 Mule Team Borax didn't aggravate my sensitive skin. What I love most about 20 Mule Team Borax is that it doubles as a multipurpose household cleaner, also cleaning counters, toilets, tubs, and showers. You'd think with this being a powdery material that it would leave a powdery residue on your counter tops but it doesn't. It wipes away easily and it actually cleans surfaces very well. It did a great job at cleaning my bathroom sinks, toilets, and showers as well. It did not effect my drains in any way. And thanks to my friend Angie over at Luv Saving Money, I found out that 20 Mule Team Borax can be used for arts and crafts as well, making things such as Flubber, which would be something fun to make with the kids.
