Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning

  1. We were home and just sat glued to the television. It was a horrible day for everyone.

  2. I can remember clearly, it was just a few months before I found out I was pregnant with my 1st child. I had worked 3rd shift the night before. Came home to get just a few hours of sleep in before heading back to work for 2nd shift. i hadn't turned on the tv or radio. I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. My phone kept ringing off the hook. I was so annoyed. I finally answer the phone. It was my husband calling from work asking me if I saw what happened. I had no idea what he was talking about. He told me to turn on the tv station to just about any channel. That's when I saw the 2nd plane hit into the tower. I just remember sitting there with him on the phone saying "oh my god, oh my god," I didn't even want to go into work that day but I did. Everyone was so subdued

  3. I was driving to school - college had started just a few weeks before. Traffic was heavy and then it came over the radio. Finishing the drive to school (about 10 minutes from where I was) seemed like AGES.
