Honey Bunches of Oats is one of America's favorite cereals and it's also always been a favorite cereal in my household for years. Honey Bunches of Oats cereal is a combination of four nutritious grains (wheat, oat, corn, and rice) made into crispy flakes with crunchy granola bunches and it now contains more granola bunches than ever before. It not only tastes good but I also learned that it is good for you too and is heart healthy, containing 10 g of whole grain, 0 g trans fat, 0 g saturated fat, and 0 mg cholesterol per serving. This is extremely important to me because at my last doctor's visit it was discovered that I have high cholesterol and high triglycerides and my doctor said I needed to eat more foods low in cholesterol and saturated fat.
Honey Bunches of Oats comes in many different flavors but our favorite has always been Honey Roasted flavor. It has a great honey flavor and is crunchy until the end, now even more so with more granola bunches. While Honey Bunches of Oats is a great way to start your day, at my house cereal is best enjoyed as a late evening snack while we catch up on our favorite television shows but my 12-year-old son loves this cereal so much that he often has it for breakfast AND a late evening snack. He's always loved his Honey Bunches of Oats cereal.
