Spike Your Juice Review and Giveaway

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

Spike Your Juice was developed by a group of Europeans who were living in California. Having grown up near wine producing regions, they particularly craved a seasonal drink called “FederweiƟer”, which was only available during harvest time. Long distance transportation was impossible due to the ongoing fermentation inside each bottle so Spike Your Juice was born. With Spike Your Juice, you can “Make it the way YOU like it – Any juice any time!”

You can spike your juice in 3 easy steps as below or watch the how to video:

PICK YOUR JUICE - Choose a 64 oz bottle of your favorite juice (with a minimum sugar content of 20g/serving, no refrigerated juices, no artificially sweetened juices, no unfiltered juices and for best results use Grape, Cranberry, Pomegranate or any Blend thereof by Welch’s or Ocean Spray).

SPIKE YOUR JUICE - Pour packet into juice, no stirring necessary, discard original bottle cap, and fill out and attach supplied label.

SEAL WITH AIRLOCK - Fill Airlock with water to fill line, seal bottle with Airlock and Rubber Stopper, and store at room temperature.

After 48 hours start sampling.

If satisfied, close bottle with Rubber Stopper, refrigerate and enjoy. For a stronger and dryer taste with increased alcohol content, re-seal with Airlock and Rubber Stopper and continue storing at room temperature until satisfied.

    Review
I occasionally like to enjoy an alcoholic drink at home so I was excited when I received a Spike Your Juice kit for review. Using the three simple steps above, I spiked a 64 ounce bottle of Bell View Grape Juice. It was a very easy process and only took about a minute or so. The next day after spiking I could see it fizzing. After allowing the bottle to sit for around 2-1/2 days, I poured a glass of the grape juice turned to wine and I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. Spiking this grape juice made a sweet but  not too sweet tasting wine with a really great alcohol flavor with no bad aftertaste. Everyone who tasted this wine loved it. I refrigerated this and my we sipped on it until the bottle was empty. With each passing day, the wine had more of an alcohol flavor and tasted even better. I have to admit though that I was very skeptical at first and didn't think that the Spike Your Juice could turn juice into an alcoholic drink that actually tasted good but I was very wrong. I'm very excited to experiment with this kit some more and make more wine by using different brands and types of juices.

The kit I received retails for $9.99, which is a great bargain. They have other kits to choose from as well. These kits would make great gifts for any wine lover or would be great to keep around the house to serve to guests or to just enjoy yourself. I'll be ordering a couple of these to give as Christmas gifts and also another for myself.

    Giveaway
