Donate to Tuesday's Children for 9/11

Since the 10th anniversary to 9/11 is approaching, I wanted to tell you about a program called Tuesday's Children. Tuesday's Children is a non-profit organization that was created for the families who lost a loved one on September 11, 2001 in an act of terrorism. With the help of partners, donors, volunteers and staff who are committed to making a difference in the lives of the families of the 9/11 victims, Tuesday's Children has developed many support services and programs to help heal family members as often times the sudden, violent and traumatic nature of their loss can become an overwhelming and defining characteristic of their lives. Tuesday's Children's vision is to fulfill "The Promise" of being there to support the children impacted into adulthood. Tuesday's Children also helps families and children who have been similarly impacted by global acts of terrorism and they share their knowledge and experience with other organizations responding to international terrorism. Their broad range of core programs and services are designed for those that lost a loved one on September 11th, Rescue and Recovery Workers and Responders, as well as those around the world that have been impacted by acts of terrorism. With a focus on strength through community, Tuesday's Children, in partnership with recognized leaders in the fields of child development, family advocacy and mentoring initiatives has developed an innovative platform of programs designed to address the ongoing needs of thousands of children coping with one of the worst tragedies in the history of our nation.

Tuesday's Children initiatives are funded by the generous contributions of individual, foundation and corporate sponsors. All contributions are channeled into programs and services that have a direct impact on children and families. You can impact the quality of life, healing, and resiliency of individuals, families, and children impacted by the events of September 11, 2001 in several ways:
