I found it very easy to relate to Bebe in many ways as she struggles to live with the choices she has made. I haven't exactly had to deal with the problems that Bebe has had to deal with and definitely not to the same extent, but I've had to deal with similar problems of my own through the years. I find Bebe to be such a strong and inspiring character in the way that she deals with her problems and finds her way to a better, clean life. I would describe Pretty as dark and edgy but very, very real as I'm sure many of us know young women just like Bebe, maybe even some who are our family members. Pretty will give you a glimpse into the other side, a side where you wouldn't want to have to experience firsthand.
