When You Enter My Giveaways.....

Just a little FYI:

I hold giveaways pretty frequently and I run them with Rafflecopter. The first entry into my giveaways is usually pretty simple. What I usually do is ask you to visit the sponsor's site and then come back to the giveaway post and leave a comment about something you learned while visiting, another product you love, etc. This seems to be a standard mandatory entry into many giveaways on many different blogs that I've visited myself and entered. When I ask that you do this simple step in order to enter my giveaways and you say that you do by clicking enter but you actually do not, you will get caught and if your name is drawn as the winner of the giveaway you will not be awarded the prize....period. Just this morning I picked a winner for a giveaway that had ended and when I found out that they had not visited the sponsor because they didn't actually leave a comment even though they said that they did, I picked another winner.

Also sometimes occasionally I'll give entries into my giveaways for making a purchase from the sponsor. This is usually worth a lot of entries and all I ask is that you put your order confirmation number in the 'extra info' box. I confirm each and every one of these with the sponsor so when you just say that you made a purchase for these extra entries and you actually didn't, you will not be awarded with these extra entries and you will potentially be banned from entering further giveaways on my blog.

Another great thing about Rafflecopter is that when you enter my giveaways, your IP address will show up on the spreadsheet that only I can see and if you're trying to enter my giveaways with multiple fake names and email addresses, you will eventually get caught for this also and you will be ineligible to win the prize and once again potentially banned from entering future giveaways. There's one person in particular that I'm watching for this currently.

I work very hard reviewing these products for my readers and posting my reviews and hosting the giveaways and all I ask is that you adhere to the rules.

Have a good day!

wow, it's so sad that we have to go through so many measures to do that. Why can't people just be honest? I know I always check the links for the tweets and such too if that was the "winning" entry.
