Konsyl Fiber Review and Giveaway

As a sufferer of irritable bowel syndrome with constipation, I know just how important fiber is, but I find it very difficult to get the recommended 25-38 g of daily fiber intake through food alone so I often take fiber supplements. I was recently introduced to a new brand of fiber supplements called Konsyl, which is psyllium fiber (a soluble plant fiber). Konsyl sent me for review a box of their 30-count original packets. These 30 single-use packets contain 100% pure psyllium and contain no sugar or sugar substitutes. In addition to relieving occasional constipation by restoring regularity, this products contains a heart-healthy formula that helps to lower cholesterol, which can help reduce the risk of heart disease, helps support diabetes management, digestive health, and a healthy weight. I thought the packet was very convenient because I didn't have to worry about measuring. I simply emptied the packet into the shaker cup that Konsyl provided me with and I added in water or juice, secured the lid, and shook for a few seconds. The first time I tried the Konsyl fiber I mixed it with water but I found it difficult to finish this way because let's face it, fiber doesn't taste so good. All the subsequent times I mixed the Konsyl fiber with a mixture of juice and water to give it some flavor and I was able to tolerate it quite well and it got easier and easier each time. The package says this can be taken up to three times a day but I usually took it only 1-2 times a day. Since I've started taking the Konsyl fiber, I've found that my bowels have been moving a little more regular than usual and I'm able to go more frequently and easier. I had no adverse reaction or side effects from using Konsyl fiber. I can easily and discretely take along a packet when traveling, which will be great come time for vacation. A couple of weeks ago I had my cholesterol checked and it was elevated so I feel even more confident in using this Konsyl fiber product and hope it can help lower my cholesterol back down to a normal range.
